VAHI Farmers Market
Client:
Virginia Highland District Association
Year:
2025
Virginia Highland is one of Atlanta’s most recognizable historic neighborhoods. When they launched a new farmers market in 2024, the branding needed to respect that history without feeling drab, dusty, or dated. I handled the design across both digital and physical touchpoints to keep their second year of markets true-to-brand while keeping up with their fast-growing attendance.
Because the community is so connected, the design had to scale—it needed to look great as a small Instagram story and be easily readable on a lawn sign from a block away. I leaned into a look that felt organic and approachable to match the local "front porch" culture.

The Digital Experience
To keep the community engaged throughout the week, I built out a library of digital assets. The focus here was on clarity and ease of use for the market team.
Social Toolkit: Custom feed and story templates for weekly updates.
Vendor & Sponsor Spotlights: Dedicated graphics to highlight the local businesses that make the market possible.
Digital Wayfinding: Interactive maps to help neighbors navigate the vendor layout each Sunday.
The Physical Presence
Since the market takes over a physical space in the heart of VaHi, the print work had to do a lot of heavy lifting—from branding the street to managing traffic.
Street-Level Branding: Lightpole banners and large-scale tent banners to claim the space.
Market Navigation: A-frames, maps, and FAQ signage to help the morning flow smoothly.
Logistics & Safety: Clear traffic and rule signage that keeps the market organized without feeling overly "corporate."
Sponsor Recognition: Printed highlights to give credit to the local partners on-site.
