By offering resources like the Civic Season Guidebook, packed with tools for reflection and action, we aim to foster customer engagement and empower individuals to connect with their communities. Join us in celebrating the spirit of democracy and promoting civic pride through innovative and interactive experiences that resonate with today's youth.
For both the 2024 and 2025 seasons, BLYNK partnered with Made By Us to design The Civic Season Guidebook — a downloadable and print-friendly resource packed with civic actions, storytelling prompts, reflections, and activity pages that celebrate and activate change-makers across the country.





The 2024 Civic Season Guidebook helped young people reflect on their individual stories and how they connect to the larger story of democracy in America. From coast to coast, the guide offered tools and resources to explore the rich and complex history of the U.S. — with a focus on local action and civic pride.




In 2025, the focus shifted from self to collective. This edition encouraged young people to connect with neighbors, explore local impact, and take action. We expanded the interactivity and brought in themes of collaboration, storytelling, and civic joy — all through a warm, welcoming design lens.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
Interactive Digital Guidebooks
Our guidebooks were optimized for both digital engagement and print distribution. These were built as downloadable PDFs and featured distinct themes, regional content, and a clear user flow to encourage participation from teens, students, and educators alike.
Content Layout & Thematic Flow
Each guidebook was built around a clear, engaging user experience that encouraged participation, creativity, and reflection.

The 2024 edition was structured like a civic road trip. The 2025 edition evolved into a team-building, community-first journey.
Scalable Visual Design System
We created a modular design system with repeatable styles, color palettes, and visual motifs.
This system allowed institutions to add localized content or co-brand the materials while maintaining a cohesive Civic Season look and feel.
Collaborative Content Design
Working closely with Made By Us and partner organizations, we helped translate historical content into accessible, youth-forward storytelling. That included defining visual hierarchy, designing engagement tools, and ensuring language aligned with the mission of empowering the next generation.
Custom Illustration and Sticker Graphics
To capture a zine-like, youth-friendly feel, we had fun with icons and sticker-style visuals. These assets brought warmth, playfulness, and energy to each page — and helped guide the attention of Gen Z in a visually dynamic way.​

National Reach & Civic Impact
Used in classrooms, workshops, public events, and print displays, they became a central tool for engaging young people during Civic Season. The content sparked reflection, storytelling, and civic participation in communities nationwide — laying the foundation for the U.S. 250th anniversary.
