The Virginia Highland Farmers Market is a weekly event where local farmers and makers meet neighbors intentional about supporting local. As the designer, I developed a vibrant, "homegrown" visual identity that highlights the market's mission of sustainability and local support in the heart of the Virginia Highland District.
Beginning my design work for the Farmers Market in Spring and Fall of 2025, I created consistent visuals for digital campaigns and the in person market experience. The market was so successful in 2025 that we are now expanding for one extended season from April to November of 2026.

WHAT I DELIVER

Expanded Market
Brand Guidelines
Maintained and elevated pre-determined brand guidelines across all touch points. Optimized brand illustrations for custom mosaic compositions and reimagined text treatment.
Functional Design
and Organization
My goal was to keep the space organized and safe through clear visual communication without looking the "neighborhood feel"
or leaning into an overly corporate aesthetic.
Social Storytelling
Collaborated with the marketing team to create digital assets for social accounts to communicate vendor applications, season dates, sponsor highlights and more! These assets flow seamlessly into the in person signage every Sunday!
Vendor Tent Banners
Each vendor recieves their own tent included with a custom banner with their business or farm name. The market brings in local farmers, artisans, and makers for a mix of seasonal flavors and fun.
Large-Scale Environmental Design
Designed A-frame signages, way finding, large scale maps, and FAQ boards to ensure each Sunday morning ran smoothly for shoppers and vendors.
Sponsor Visibility & Engagement
Developed branded sponsor displays and recognition materials to maximize visibility, boost partner pride, and integrate sponsor presence seamlessly into the event’s visual experience.
