THE WISH WALL @
The Wish Wall mural was created as a centerpiece installation for the 2025 Civic Season at the
Smithsonian National Museum of American History. BLYNK was commissioned to lead the creative direction and visual design of a 28-foot interactive mural that invited museum visitors to share their wishes for the country’s future — in celebration of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. Within the campaign period, we collected over 15,000 wishes and transformed individual wishes into a collective statement to our nation.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
Interactive Mural Design
Lead Visual Design for a 28-foot Wish Wall mural activation at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, including hand-lettering, layout, and a dynamic, Gen Z–inspired visual language.
Merch Design
We designed custom T-Shirts for all partners and volunteers to wear during the Installation that sparked conversation around the messaging of Civic Season.
Creative Direction
We led a creative direction that honored both the commemorative tone of America’s 250th and the future-focused optimism of the project’s mission.
Nationwide Brand Consistency
To support 30 Wish Walls at partner sites across the U.S., we created flexible brand templates and visual guidelines, ensuring consistency while allowing room for local adaptation and storytelling.
Custom Sticker Design
We partnered with StickerGiant to design holographic Civic Season inspired stamps, and printed 15,000 to distribute at the installation site.
Collaborative Production
We worked with the Smithsonian and national partners to coordinate timelines, deliverables, and digital assets—contributing to a campaign that collected over 15,000 wishes nationwide.
